Meet the Team

Our small but dedicated team have great experience that enables us to supply the very best quality, pre-owned prestige cars with the best service histories and specifications. We specialise in Audi’s, and source our stock from some of the largest UK leasing companies as well as franchised dealers. We always try to have a selection of other prestige makes including BMW, Land Rover, Mercedes-Benz, Mini, Volvo and VW. We also sell selected part exchanges which are too good to send to auction, so you will often find other great cars for sale on our website. Regardless of whether the car is a direct purchase or part exchange, every car we sell is supplied with a clear HPI Certificate giving you total 'peace of mind'. We only sell cars that have comprehensive service histories.

Business partners

We set up Stansted Prestige in January 2008. Originally it was a small business working from home, after we both decided that we wanted to work for ourselves. We both had belief in our abilities and have taken the business from humble beginnings in 2008 to a business that now sells an average 30 cars per month and has an annual turnover of a staggering £4.3m. We are both focused on customer satisfaction - we believe our customers 'buy' our cars and we don't actually sell them. With more and more repeat business happening each year, from both 'local' and 'national' customers, we know we are doing something right.

Background: Phil has worked in the industry since the age of 21, and before setting up Stansted Prestige, spent 16 years as a 'Group Buyer' for a large Audi dealer. Phil brings the knowledge and expertise that is necessary to run our growing prestige car business. Ian's background is accounting, and he holds a firm grip on the company finance that has ensured the year on year growth for a company started in the recession of 2008 to where it is now. We both have plans to continue to grow the business, but will always have our eyes firmly focused on the satisfaction of our customers.

And Beatrice.......... Always seems to follow us wherever we are, known as the sleeping guard dog! She is very friendly, always in the office when we're there, always eager to meet customers, and loves those that bring in treats! I think its fair to say we're a dog friendly business, and with fantastic walks in the woods opposite, and always a fresh bowl of water in the corner, feel free to bring your dog to say hello and to meet Beatrice.

Ross Tyler - Sales

Ross Tyler - Sales

Ross manages our small business on a day-to-day basis and also assists with car sales when we're busy, which appears to be quite frequent  judging by the amount of times his name keeps appearing in our reviews section!

Ross joined us 5 years ago as a car cleaner/driver and his original remit was to keep our forecourt cars in top condition and deliver cars to customers. As a business, we have a belief that a business should always 'promote from within' and, over the years Ross has moved on within our company to the point where he now shares in our success and ensures our customers are always content.  

Pete - Sales

Pete - Sales

Pete works with us as our Salesman. Pete joined us in May 2015 and returned after a brief departure for pastures new.

It's good to have back Pete back in our team as he has great industry knowledge having spent time working for prestige brands Audi, Mini and Mercedes.

Luke - Forecourt Assistants

Luke - Forecourt Assistants

Luke is responsible for:

  • Photography and video of cars for our website
  • Movement of vehicles locally
  • Assisting the Sales Team on a Saturday
  • Assisting with our forecourt display
  • Re-cleaning of sold cars prior to customer collection
  • Collection of new purchases and delivery of cars to customers throughout the UK
  • Weekly cleaning of around 25 cars on our forecourt

Harry - Sales Administration

Harry - Sales Administration

Harry is responsible for the running of our office. Although we are a small dealer, we have a really busy office that has to keep up with the buying and selling of over 30 cars per month as well as the other work this generates. Harry assists in the advertising, uploading of photo's, video uploads, arranging the throughput of cars in our preparation process and many other jobs too. If you're phoning in for the first time, then it'll probably be Harry who answers your call.
