Vehicle Delivery Options

In today’s fast paced world we accept that not all of our customers have the time to travel round car dealers checking out every car they’ve found on the internet, so back in 2008 we started our delivery service.

In reality, as a customer, we understand that before buying a car, all you really want to know is that you are getting a good deal, buying a good car, that the car is exactly as described regarding specification/condition/ownership/service history/MOT, and that the car is as the advert says it is.

So here's how it works: We make a (one way) charge of £1 per mile for delivery and before we take your refundable reservation fee, we talk you round the car of interest by telephone, literally as if you were looking at it yourself and will make comment on all items including any stone chips etc. If you'd prefer we can send additional photos or carry out a 'Facetime' call if it's easier. Some customers prefer seeing a video appraisal and if you wish, can send a link to a full video appraisal, usually within a few hours of your first contact.  

Once you are confident in us as a business, and satisfied with the report on the car, we take a £500 reservation fee by debit card and this removes the car from sale. We then email your order form which details everything discussed by telephone, and includes the agreed delivery address/date/time. We arrange deliveries around our customer, although we exclude weekend deliveries as we simply don’t have the staff available.

At the point of delivery, you have the opportunity to check the car over fully, ensuring it matches our description as well as your expectations. You then have the opportunity to take a test drive before paying the balance using on-line banking. Finally, all we ask is for you to drop our driver at your nearest station for their return journey.

We have been selling and delivering cars on this basis since we started our company back in January 2008 and, to date, we have never returned with a car yet! If it does happen, and it has to at some point, the guarantee that we offer is to process a refund of your reservation fee prior to our drivers departure. We have a simple philosophy - we don't drive to deliver a car that has not been described properly!

We hope that in time to come, our customers will be able to order on-line and arrange delivery with the click of a mouse, but we're not there yet! Used cars are more complicated than most internet purchases so there still has to be that personal interaction, however, given time, we can see this happening.
